The Lawrence County Board of Education Maintenance Department currently has 7 Skilled Maintenance Workers, 1 Data Entry employee, and 1 Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Department receives all work orders for all school/department locations. Each school/department should have designated employees to submit their work orders. Work orders are submitted using our online maintenance management program, www.schooldude.com. Of course, in the case of an emergency, you may call maintenance at 256-905-2493. Please keep in mind, if you do not have a schooldude.com log-in, you may still call or email concerning work orders or any other type of maintenance problem or concern that you may have.
Please keep in mind that on the average day, we receive many different work orders. So, when you submit a (non-emergency) work order, do not necessarily expect to have a maintenance worker come on that same day. However, our department does strive to complete all work orders in a reasonable amount of time.
