All Lawrence County Supervisors, Principals, and Assistant Principals were trained in Steven Covey's "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" in the summer of 2009. This program will enable educational leaders to motivate, lead, collaborate, guide continuous instructional improvement, and enhance the learning process for students, teachers, parents and communities. The initiative will help students think about decisions they make and prepare them for leadership roles in the twenty first century.

The 7 Habits are:
