Hazlewood Elementary School is located a block north of Hwy 20 in Town Creek.  The school has been located on the present site since 1960.  The present structure consists of an original building and five additions built in 1967, 1973, 1979, 1982, and 1996.

There are 200 students enrolled in kindergarten through 6th grade.  There are 20 teachers and 12 support staff assigned to the school.   Students at Hazlewood Elementary are promoted to Hazlewood High in the 7th grade.

The school consists of 17 regular classrooms, 1 special needs classroom, library, computer lab, and reading resource lab.  There is also an auditorium and gymnasium.  The kitchen and cafeteria are located in a separate building on campus.  Four additional classrooms are sued for speech, reading, music, and Indian Education.  Offices for the principal, counselor, secretary, nurse, and a teacher workroom complete the layout of the school.
