***Attention MMS Orientation***
Below is a schedule for MMS orientation.
School starts Aug. 12th for all traditional students. Class rosters will be posted next week.
Parents will join us at assigned times for orientation.
In order to keep everyone as safe as possible please use assigned doors and wear masks. We ask that only parents or guardians attend the meeting.
Although the 2020-2021 school year is different, we look forward to seeing your kids and having a great school year! Go Big Red!
***ATTENTION MMS VOLLEYBALL***
We are having a volleyball camp for our 7th and 8th graders Monday, July 27th, and Tuesday, July 28th from 11:00 to 1:00. This will help the girls improve on some skills before tryouts start. The cost of the camp is $20.
TRYOUTS will be Wednesday, July 29th, and Thursday, July 30th from 9:00 to 11:00. Both camp and tryouts are closed to parents/public. Any girl participating in the camp has to have an updated physical uploaded into Dragonfly or must bring one in hand on the first day of camp. Girls wanting to try out for the team must have the updated physical, concussion, and student release forms uploaded into Dragonfly or turn in by hand the first day of tryouts.
We will check temperatures at the door each day and sanitize balls as much as possible.
If you can't be at tryouts because you are out of town or if you have been directly exposed to COVID we will have a makeup tryout the following week, you MUST email firstname.lastname@example.org stating the reason so she can add you to a later tryout list. If you have already made contact with her you do not have to contact her again

To our 8th Graders:
We want to express how excited we are for you to move on to the next phase of your life and education! You are going to high school! At the same time, we are sad our time together was cut short. We were all looking forward to so many end-of-year activities. But if we are smart, we will concentrate on what we HAVE instead of what we missed, and what we have are lots of great MEMORIES!! There is no doubt that the Class of 2024 will be successful. You are truly one of the best groups we’ve had in a while, and we will truly miss you!
We are here for you now and always,
MMS 8th Grade Teachers
To our fantastic students, we want to provide some fun and encouragement for you during our time away from school. Please take precautions to stay safe and healthy. Someone once said, “You can’t have a good day with a bad attitude and you can’t have a bad day with a good attitude.” Choose good! Make the most of your time at home and have some fun.
