LCS Coronavirus Hotline and Email Information
The Lawrence County School System is truly concerned about students during this mandatory school closure. In order for us to stay informed about students’ health during this school closure, we have established a hotline for parents to use to report if their children test positive for the Coronavirus. We truly hope and pray none of our students, staff members and community are negatively impacted by this virus. However, we think that it is best to be prepared with accurate information.
The hotline mailbox is accessible 24 hours a day by dialing the main Lawrence County Board of Education number, which is 256-905-2400 and choosing option 1. Messages left in this voicemail box will be monitored by district health services.
As an alternative to leaving a voice message, parents may report Coronavirus incidents by emailing to email@example.com. General questions and concerns related to the coronavirus and school closure can also be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. A school health services representative may contact you to follow up on reported incidents, and school officials will follow up with return emails to try and answer general questions and concerns.
