I am a native of Lawrence County and a 2002 graduate of Mt. Hope High School. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2006 from Athens State University. I had the privilege of beginning my teaching career at Mt. Hope School. While at Mt. Hope, I taught 5th grade, kindergarten, and 5th/6th grade language arts. I earned a Master's Degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama in 2012 and accepted a position at East Lawrence Middle School as the School Counselor. I completed an Instructional Leadership certification from the University of West Alabama in 2016. In 2017, I was given the opportunity to come to Hatton Elementary School as the Principal. 

I live in Russellville with my husband and daughter. I enjoy attending church, spending time with my family, traveling, and shopping.

I am thankful for the opportunity to serve as the Principal at Hatton Elementary School. It is truly a great school and community. It is my goal to meet the needs of all students. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
